Stop NY Corruption Issues Statement
on
Legislature’s Passage of New Congressional Maps
Bobbie Anne Cox, spokesperson for Stop NY Corruption and a Westchester County based attorney who specializes in constitutional law, issued the following statement:
“New York’s corrupt election system is still functioning. Millions of tax dollars were spent on a process that should not have been revisited. New York’s Constitution ìs clear – there should be only one redistricting every decade. This second redistricting is contrary to the Constitution’s mandate. Not to mention, that along the way we witnessed musical chairs on the Court of Appeals – a questionable act to keep this process going. We still maintain that the 2022 constitutionally drawn maps should remain in place.”
